The Kurayoshi is a single malt whiskey produced by the Matsui Shuzo Distillery, located in Tottori Prefecture, north-west of Kyoto and north-east of Hiroshima, on the coast of the Sea of Japan. More than 14% of the prefecture is a natural park, full of lush vegetation, rugged coastlines, rivers and lakes. The whiskey is aged for more than 3 years in ex bourbon white oak barrels. In the glass it appears of an intense amber color. It has soft aromas, reminiscent of malt, rum raisins and vanilla. Its sip is pleasantly refreshing, elegant, perfect for a pleasant end to a splendid evening.
