The Calvados Christian Drouin Sélection of the Domaine de Cœur de Lion is produced in the Domfront factory, in the heart of AOC Calvados, France. It is mainly obtained from ripe pears and apple cider by slow distillation in a single step. This Calvados has a pale golden yellow color. The nose expresses notes of cooked apple and pear, enriched with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate it is silky, sweet and enveloping, with a pleasantly long and fruity finish. Perfect as an aperitif, it is indicated for the preparation of cocktails and gourmet recipes.
