Ruffino Rosso di Marte Morellino di Scansano DOCG 0,75 ℓ

The Rosso di Marte of the Ruffino company is a Morellino di Scansano DOCG produced with Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. The grapes come from vineyards grown on clayey-sandy soils and located at an average altitude of 200 meters above sea level. After harvesting in mid-September, the grapes are fermented in steel with maceration in contact with the skins and subsequent ageing of 9 months. 3 months bottle ageing follows. Ruby red in colour with purple hues, it has a deep aromatic profile with notes of cherry, herbaceous and tobacco hints. On the palate it is fresh, with good structure, with smooth tannins and good flavour before a medium-long finish. Perfect with grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with beef tartare and cold cuts and cheeses.
