Conti Zecca Nero Salento IGT 0,75 ℓ

Conti Zecca Nero Salento IGT 0,75 ℓNero di Conti Zecca is a blend of the autochthonous Negroamaro with the international Cabernet Sauvignon grape, grown on an alluvial soil with some limestone rocks, in the municipalities of Leverano and Salice Salentino, in the province of Lecce. The grapes are softly pressed, then sent to maceration for 12-15 days at a temperature of 28 ° C. The must ferments in stainless steel with temperature control, then it is decanted into French oak barriques and large barrels, where it rises for 18 and 12 months respectively, followed by a further 6 months of bottle aging. It presents itself in the glass with a bewitching ruby red with a garnet nail. The nose is varied and broad, alternating aromas of small red fruits with spicy hints ranging from vanilla to licorice. Soft and harmonious, the tasting demonstrates a rich and well-structured body, with ripe tannins and a persistent finish. Perfect if combined with game or roast terrines, it is ideal for escorting a platter of aged cheeses.
