Morgenster's Lourens River Valley aims to be one of the best Bordeaux cuts to be found outside of France. The blend of vines is the classic Bordeaux based on Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The attention to the vegetative cycle of the plant and to the perfect ripening of the grapes is maximum and allows, during the harvest, to bring only the best bunches to the cellar. The wine ages for over 12 months in French oak barrels. The intense ruby red color traces the dark profile of this wine, which we find on the nose with hints of ripe black fruit and jam, notes of coffee, spices and aromatic herbs. In the mouth it is full-bodied and balanced, with soft tannins. Ideal in combination with grilled red meats and roasted and stewed game.
