This fine brandy is made with fresh Sangiovese Grosso pomace from the renowned Brunello di Montalcino. The distillation process takes place within 48 hours of racking to preserve the freshness of the raw materials, with the manual cutting of the head and tail to ensure maximum quality. After distillation, the grappa ages for at least five years in medium-toasted French oak barrels. This grappa has an intense golden color with amber reflections. The nose perceives elegant notes of black cherry in alcohol, candied citron, oak and vanilla. On the palate it is enveloping and balanced, with a notable persistence that reveals hints of tobacco, licorice, cinnamon and honey.
