Piwi-Sorte Levitage - Genossenschaftskellerei Heilbronn

Our Levitage is strong, dark and has a lot of power on the palate. Intense aromas such as cherry and wild berry paired with a pleasantly integrated tannin structure characterize this wine of the future. The sustainable grape variety Levitage was bred in 1994 at the Research Institute for Fruit and Wine Growing in Weinsberg. The genetic material comes from the Regent and Acolon grape varieties, in which the breeding line from Lemberger and Dornfelder was combined with an American wild grape.
