The 2022 Assmannshausen Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) exudes aromas of sour cherries and blackberries. On the palate, it presents itself with soft, silky tannins. An aromatic and finely mineral red wine from the Rheingau region. Location & Terroir Vineyard: The blend of our new Assmannshausen Spätburgunder-Ortswein comes from our three vineyards in Assmannshausen. ORTSWEINE (Ortswein) are ambassadors of their community. They generally come from high-quality, characterful, and traditional vineyards within a local area. Our Assmannshausen Ortswein (Ortswein) specifically comes from Höllenberg, Frankenthal, and Hinterkirch. It reflects the typical aromas of Assmannshausen, with cassis aromas and a light acid structure. The wines are released two years after the harvest. Terroir: Slate weathering
