The Yellow Wood White Blend W.O. Coastal Region Spier

This exciting cuvée is made from roughly equal parts Chenin Blanc and Grenache Blanc. The grapes come from the Stellenbosch and Paarl regions. The juice was fermented in a combination of stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels, with the Grenache Blanc portion being aged 100% in French oak barrels. Before bottling, the wine spent four months on the fine lees to optimally highlight its structure. Notes of lychee, citrus aromas and pears on the nose. Spicy aromas are added on the palate.
