Terroir Cabernet Sauvignon - Kaiken Wines

The Kaiken Terroir Series takes us to Argentina's spectacular wine landscapes, from Mendoza up to Salta. The Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Los Chacayes in the Valle de Uco, as does the Malbec/Bonarda. A handful of Petit Verdot from Agrelo in Luján de Cuyo rounds off the cuvée. The dry high mountain climate with hot summers, harsh winters and strongly fluctuating day and night temperatures allows the grapes to ripen perfectly. Hand selection and the careful aging of the wines, first in French oak, then in the bottle, underline the expressive character of the cuvée. Deep red, full-bodied and seductive. The sweetly ripened dark fruit and fresh spicy notes accompany us from the bouquet across the palate to the long finale with a delicious hint of dark chocolate.
