Martell VSOP Red Barrels Cognac AOC 0,7 ℓ

The Martell VSOP Red Barrels Cognac is the result of a skilful blend of four different spirits from Grande Champagne and Borderies, areas from which some of the most refined cognac originate. The ageing of this cognac is carried out exclusively in fine-grained oak barrels of reddish color typical of aged wood, for a variable duration ranging from 2 to 8 years. A warm copper colour with golden reflections at the sight, it releases a fruity bouquet in the glass characterized by notes of stone fruit and sweet plum, sprinkled with woody and caramel hints. In the mouth it is large and complex, with a whirlwind of sensations that passes from the fruit already expressed by smell to a spiciness typical of the aging woods, distributed in a well-composed and expressive balance. Excellent both smooth and on ice cubes, it offers new expressive possibilities if expertly mixed in a refined cocktail.
