Silvaner Rheinhessen Hemer 1l - Wein & Sektgut Hemer

Until the early 1990s, Silvaner was the most widely grown variety in Germany, ahead of Riesling. Today it still has a stronghold, especially in Franconia, but people tend to forget that the largest Silvaner areas are at home in Rheinhessen. Freshly cut grass, meadow herbs, citrus, nice creaminess on the palate, very tangy and refreshing. Goes really well with a drink on the terrace.
