Custoza Superiore DOC Sexaginta - Monte del Frà

The Monte del Frà winery, owned by the Bonomo family for three generations, was founded in 1958 in the heart of the moraine hills of Lake Garda in Sommacampagna. The vineyards, which today amount to about 200 hectares, are located in the most famous wine-growing areas of the Verona area: Custoza, Lugana, Bardolino, Valpolicella Classica and Soave, which today produce quality wines recognized in more than 60 countries around the world. The company has always been concerned with sustainable ethics and has always been at the forefront of production techniques. The wine is aged in steel tanks and then in tonneaux. In the spring, two years after the harvest, the wine is bottled, where it ages for a further 6 months to perfection before being released onto the market. The wine is an intense golden yellow. The nose is seduced by scents of laurel, medlar, ripe yellow fruit, citrus fruit, white flowers, dried apricots, acacia honey and a hint of incense. On the palate, the wine is dry, spicy, elegant, flattering and long-lasting. The sophisticated scents that you already noticed when smelling spread pleasantly in the mouth and remain present for a long time.
