Rasslerin Rotgipfler - Krug

The Rasslerin vineyard is considered one of the oldest sites in Gumpoldskirchen, situated on the slopes of the Anninger mountain. With its heavy brown earth soils interspersed with limestone, it is perfectly suited to aromatic grape varieties like Rotgipfler. The 20% aging in oak barrels adds further power and body, while the multi-stage aging in stainless steel preserves the focus on primary fruit. On the palate, it impresses with its freshness, piquant herbal spice, and subtle exotic fruit. An approachable wine with good length.
