Tenimenti d’Alessandro Toscana IGT Syrah 0,75 ℓ

This pure Syrah, produced from the youngest vineyards of the Tenimenti d'Alessandro estate located on the Manzano hills in Cortona, at 290 – 330 m a.s.l., on clay-silt soil; ready to drink but with good aging potential.The vinification includes a 5-day maceration on the skins with fermentation in steel, followed by an aging period of about 15 months between steel and vitrified concrete tanks.In the glass, it presents a deep, bright red color, while on the nose it offers intense scents of underbrush, blackberries, balsamic and spicy notes, with a hint of licorice root; the sip is fresh, fruity, and supported by silky tannins with good persistence and crisp fruitiness.It goes well with aged pecorino cheeses, artisanal charcuterie, and eggplant parmigiana.
