The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by limestone and clay. Vinification of the Rosado Rioja from Bodegas Muga The balanced Rosado Rioja from Spain is a cuvée vinified from the grape varieties Garnacha, Tempranillo and Viura. In La Rioja, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone and clay. At the time of optimal ripeness, the grapes for Rosado Rioja are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective full harvesters. After harvesting, the grapes are taken to the press house in the fastest possible way. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Rosado Rioja is aged for another 3 months in oak barrels.
