Rubrato Aglianico - Feudi di San GregorioThe Rubrato Aglianico from the Campania wine-growing region presents itself in a bright purple red in the glass. This Feudi di San Gregorio red wine reveals all kinds of blackberries on the nose. As if that wasn't already impressive, blackcurrant, liquorice and blueberry are added to the mix thanks to the ageing in stainless steel. On the palate, the Rubrato Aglianico from Feudi di San Gregorio opens wonderfully aromatic, fruity and balanced. Some wines are dry on the label, others really are. This red wine belongs to the latter group, as it was vinified with just 0.6 g of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully light and crisp. Thanks to its moderate fruit acidity, Rubrato Aglianico has a soft mouthfeel without lacking freshness. The finish of this red wine from the Campania region, more precisely from Irpinia DOC, is delightful with a beautiful aftertaste. Vinification of the Rubrato Aglianico from Feudi di San Gregorio The basis for the balanced Rubrato Aglianico from Campania are grapes from the Aglianico grape variety. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of this process, the Rubrato Aglianico can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months. Recommendation for the Feudi di San Gregorio Rubrato Aglianico This red wine from Italy is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C as an accompaniment to a wide variety of dishes, but is also a pleasure to drink on its own.</p
