Vinification of the Rioja Reserva DOCa by Ramón Bilbao This red wine is one of the classics from Ramón Bilbao. It is vinified from 90% Tempranillo and 5% each of Mazuelo and Graciano, two traditional grape varieties from the Rioja wine region. These two grape varieties give the cuvée a certain acidity and longevity. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks with short maceration periods, then aged for 20 months in American oak barriques. After bottling, it ages for another 20 months in bottle to achieve its perfect balance.
