Vinification of Oddbird Spumante Rosé This elegant Spumante Rosé from Italy is a cuvée made organically from the Glera and Pinot Noir grape varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Veneto. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay, sandstone and marl. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation of the base wines. Once the cuvée has been blended, further ageing takes place using the Charmat method. This is followed by bottle ageing for 12 months. Once the wine is finished, the Spumante Rosé is carefully de-alcoholized.
