The 2016 vintage follows the great 2015 almost seamlessly in terms of quality. The grapes come from the best selections on the east and west sides of the estate, where they ripen particularly well and produce a wine that is high in alcohol but integrates perfectly with the wine. The wine matured in French Allier oak for 18 months. Very fine nose of wild plums and cassis. A wide spectrum on the palate, ranging from dark cherries to chocolate and tobacco.
