In the glass, this white wine from Klumpp offers aromas of orange, apricot, grapefruit, guava and pomelo, complemented by other fruity nuances. The Riesling from Klumpp is the right wine for all wine enthusiasts who like as little sweetness as possible in their wine. However, it never appears meager or brittle, as one might expect from a wine in the upper price range. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Riesling reveals itself to be fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. Vinification of the Riesling from Klumpp The basis for the elegant Riesling from Baden are grapes from the Riesling grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Baden. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of limestone and loess. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Riesling is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months. Food recommendation for the Riesling from Klumpp This German wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to asparagus salad with quinoa, vegetable salad with beetroot or wok vegetables with fish.
