Terre Siciliane Contrasto del Rosso di Augustali was born in vineyards located between the municipalities of Alcamo and Partinico, in the heart of western Sicily. It is entirely produced with Nero d'Avola grapes, harvested and carefully selected by hand between the first and second ten days of September. After the classic red winemaking processes, the wine ages for 12 months in wooden barrels, for 6 months in cement tanks and finally in the bottle, before being released on the market. It is characterized by an opaque ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense and pleasant bouquet of red fruits, enriched with light notes of caper and spices. In the mouth it is structured and with good character. This red wine is perfect to accompany red meat dishes and aged cheeses.
