Polvanera Primitivo 16 Vigneto San Benedetto Gioia del Colle DOC 0,75 ℓ

The Gioia del Colle Primitivo 16 of Polvanera was born in vineyards, organically run, located in the municipality of Acquaviva delle Fonti in the heart of the DOC Gioia del Colle. It is produced exclusively with Primitivo grapes, harvested and selected by hand between the first and second ten days of September. Fermentation takes place, with maceration, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25 ° C, for 4 weeks. Subsequently the wine ages for 24 months in steel and for another 12 months in bottle before being released on the market. Polvanera Primitivo 16 is characterized by an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose opens with enveloping aromas of blackberries, cherries and red mulberries, enriched with notes of violet, aromatic herbs, licorice and graphite. On the palate it is fresh and mineral, with well integrated tannins and a pleasantly long and persistent finish. Perfect to accompany roasts and meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
