Due Palme Canonico Salento IGP Negroamaro 0,75 ℓ

Il Canonico is a wine from Cantine Due Palme, located in the Cellino San Marco area. The wine takes its name from the district of Cellino San Marco where today one of the cellars stands. Canonico is produced from 100% Negroamaro grapes, harvested at the end of September. The grapes are macerated in horizontal rotary fermenters; subsequently the wine is aged for 4 months in French oak barriques. In the glass the wine appears ruby red in color. The nose opens on aromas of ripe red fruit. The sip is lean and balanced. Ideal in combination with cold cuts and cheeses appetizers and pasta with meat sauce.
