The grapes are harvested in three stages in mid-September, mid-October and mid-November and matured separately, some in wood. Lush, fragrant, almost creamy, flattering in the mouth, long, playful finish. Who would have thought that such a top-class wine could be made from Soave grapes (Garganega)? PIEVE VECCHIA matures amazingly well and is often still impressive even after 8-10 years.
