Chardonnay - Haras de Pirque

Chardonnay - Haras de PirqueChardonnay - Haras de PirqueWith the Haras de Pirque Chardonnay, a first-class white wine finds its way into the glass. It displays a wonderfully brilliant, golden-yellow color. The bouquet of this white wine from the Valle del Maipo delights with nuances of apricot, peach, pink grapefruit, and orange. It is precisely its fruit-forward character that makes this wine so special. The Haras de Pirque Chardonnay presents itself to the wine enthusiast as wonderfully dry. This white wine never appears rough or austere, but rather round and smooth. Thanks to its lively acidity, the Chardonnay comes across on the palate as impressively fresh and vibrant. On the finish, this youthful white wine from the Valle del Maipo winegrowing region captivates with a beautiful length. Once again, hints of dried fruit and prunes appear. Vinification of the Haras de Pirque Chardonnay This elegant white wine from Chile is vinified from the Chardonnay grape variety. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in large wooden vats at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Chardonnay is aged for another 6 months in French oak barrels. Food recommendation for the Chardonnay from Haras de Pirque This white wine from Chile is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It is perfectly suited as an accompanying wine to coconut-lime fish curry, omelet with salmon and fennel, or fruity endive salad.
