On the palate, the Tsinandali from Winery Shaloshvili starts off delightfully dry, firm, and aromatic. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced white wine is wonderfully light. The finish of this white wine from the Kakheti wine-growing region, which has good aging potential, ultimately delights with a good aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the soils dominated by black earth and volcanic rock. In Kakheti, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of volcanic rock and black earth. After hand-picking, the grapes are immediately brought to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After it is complete, the Tsinandali can continue to harmonize for a few months on the fine lees.
