Of the two great plants from the Schönlebers, the Frühlingsplätzchen is always the more fragrant and lighter. The Riesling shows its finest and most elegant side, but at the same time is also astonishingly deep and complex. Aromas of smoke and minerality, flowers and citrus fruits, peaches and rose hips characterize the bouquet. The tension on the palate created by the lively acidity is particularly impressive. The combination of acid structure, minerality, light fruit and fine phenolics gives the wine a taut freshness, fullness and impressive length.
