Steinberg - monopoly site with a historic history: The 33.3 hectare area is owned by the monastery as a monopoly. Vines have been grown here for over 800 years, by the monks of the monastery and now by their secular successors. A wall over four meters high and almost three kilometers long completely encloses the Steinberg site and protects the vineyard from cold air. This creates a microclimate that produces delicate, elegant white wines with great minerality and character.
