When perfectly ripe, the grapes for the Mandolás Furmint 1,5 l Magnum are harvested exclusively by hand without the use of punishing and less selective machines. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by maturation for 6 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
