Verdicchio di Matelica Vigneto del Cerro di Belisario derives from 100% Verdicchio grapes, harvested in the vineyards of the Upper Esina Valley, at the foot of Monte San Vicino. The vinification takes place in white at a controlled low temperature and in the total absence of oxygen, in order to preserve the aromatic component intact. The wine ages in stainless steel tanks for 5 months and ages for a further month in the bottle. Intense straw yellow color with golden reflections, it expresses pleasant hints of aniseed of acacia flowers on the nose, enriched with notes of almond and citrus. On the palate it is elegant and sapid, soft and fresh. It goes perfectly with hot appetizers, first courses and elaborate fish dishes.
