The Müller Thurgau Sòfi by Franz Haas is a white wine from the Trentino Alto Adige region. The vines grow on mixed clay and porphyry soils located between 500 and 800 meters above sea level. These pedo-climatic conditions, together with the solar exposure to the south and south-west, contribute to defining the distinctive character of this wine. The grapes are carefully harvested and subjected to a short maceration to favor aromatic extraction. After delicate pressing, the must ferments at a controlled temperature in steel tanks, where the wine remains to refine for approximately five months. Subsequently, it spends a short period in the bottle before being released on the market. To the eye it presents a lively straw yellow colour. On the nose, the wine expresses a bouquet of aromas reminiscent of muscat, fresh fruit, peaches and flowers such as yellow primrose. On the palate, it is elegant and savory, with a very pleasant finish that balances the fresh acidity with a convincing simplicity, seducing from a young age. This Müller Thurgau Sòfi by Franz Haas is the ideal accompaniment for aperitifs, light first courses of Mediterranean cuisine, fish salads and fresh goat's cheeses.
