Amaro Leon by Castagner is rich in botanical extracts derived from flowers, leaves, roots and herbs. It is produced by selecting the best botanicals that are cold infused for different times, in order to extract the noblest and most characteristic aromas from each. Depending on the type of botany, the infusions can last even a few months. The Master Distiller then proceeds to harmonize them with aged grappa. The aromas of this bitter are complex and intense, starting with fruity hints, to then find refreshing hints of dandelion and full-bodied notes of gentian, rhubarb and angelica. On the palate it is full, rich and persistent. Tasting liqueur, it best expresses its characteristics served frozen or with ice cubes.
