The 2021 vintage is once again of great class, the Großes Gewächs from the top Himmelreich site in the Moselle town of Graach. Precision, clarity, minerality, tension - everything just fits together. Excellent nose with notes of apples, citrus, white peaches, kiwi, the spontaneous fermentation notes typical of Lieser fit in perfectly. A fascinating complexity and intensity on the palate, great minerality, full of tension, freshness, finesse, with fine herbal notes. A great Riesling that Thomas Haag produced in the classic Moselle vintage of 2021.
