Colosi's Salina Rosso Guardiano del Faro di Colosi comes to life on the Aeolian island of Salina, in the charming town of Capo Faro. It is obtained from 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes, harvested at the end of September. A traditional fermentation in red is followed by a passage of 12 months in French oak barriques. Wine with an intense ruby red color, it gives the nose delicious notes of red fruits such as cherry and raspberry and spicy notes of vanilla. The palate is warm and harmonious, with good persistence. Perfect in combination with red meat dishes and savory cheeses, it is enhanced with game.
