Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco di Bava is a rosé sparkling wine made from only Malvasia di Schierano grapes, an aromatic grape grown in some municipalities north of the province of Asti. The vinification provided for a short cold maceration and pressing of the grapes to obtain a particularly fragrant flower must. The sparkling process takes place according to the Italian method in steel vats. In the glass it has a lively cherry color, with a deliciously creamy foam. The scent is broad and intense, with clear hints of rose and wild strawberry. On the palate it is delicate and pleasantly sweet, with a light tannic presence and a long-lasting finish. Perfect with all fruit desserts, it can become an ingredient in very refined cocktails and long drinks.
