Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato Riserva Il Fondatore by Montalbera is a Piedmontese red wine produced in the Castagnole Monferrato area, in Piedmont. The grapes come from Ruchè vineyards with superior quality thanks to careful management of the buds and thinning carried out in the summer months. The vinification follows the traditional red method, with an aging in French oak barrels for a period that varies between 10 and 14 months, depending on the vintage. The wine does not undergo tartaric stabilization, thus maintaining its organoleptic characteristics and its natural structure intact. It has a ruby red color that tends to garnet with aging. On the nose it releases an intense and persistent aroma, with aromatic notes and hints of berries that evolve towards oriental spices and black pepper. On the palate it is powerful and characteristic, with great persistence and a balanced finish. This red wine pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, roasts and mature cheeses.
