Merlot MP - Markus Pfaffmann

Merlot, the world's second most widely planted grape variety, has been cultivated in Germany since 1997. Thanks to the mild climate, it thrives in the Southern Palatinate region. The wines produced from it are characterized primarily by deep, dark forest fruit aromas such as blackberry, blueberry, blackcurrant, and plum, with a pleasant woody spiciness. Round and harmonious with a dense body, velvety tannins, and those forest floor nuances, it is a perfect accompaniment to hearty meat dishes, spicy Mediterranean dishes, or enjoyed on its own as a finale to the day.
