Tercic Dar Collio DOC Pinot Grigio 0,75 ℓ

The Dar white wine is produced by the Terčič company, which is located in San Floriano del Collio, in the province of Gorizia, close to the north-eastern border between Italy and Slovenia. Dar in Slovenian means gift, in this case wine as a gift from the vineyard. It consists of 100% Pinot Grigio grapes, which first of all undergo a cold skin maceration of approx. 20 hours. Fermentation takes place in French oak barriques, where the wine subsequently ages for 8 months. Golden yellow in color with coppery reflections, it reveals aromas of plums and ripe apricots, chamomile and hay on the nose, enriched with notes of cocoa and vanilla. The sip is soft, with a persistent finish. It goes very well with fried fish and vegetables.
