91-94/100 vinous Good full, deep red. The most complex nose of these 2006s: red cherry, red berries, minerals, curry powder and menthol. Utterly suave and silky on entry, then seamless in the middle, with ripe yet cool flavors of cherry, minerals and menthol. Here the tannins reach the front teeth, but they don't arrive until the fruit has had a chance to expand on the back. An outstanding '06 in the making. (Stephen Tanzer, vinous.com)
