Vinification of the winery Markowitsch Rubin Carnuntum The balanced Rubin Carnuntum from Austria is a single-varietal wine, pressed from the Zweigelt grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in small wood and large wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Rubin Carnuntum is aged for several months in barriques and large wooden barrels made of French oak.
