The Taurasi Riserva Campore di Terredora was born in the owned vineyard in Lapio, Campore, in the province of Avellino. It is produced entirely from Aglianico grapes all harvested and selected manually. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with maceration for 12-15 days. Subsequently the wine ages in small French oak barrels for 30 months and 8-10 years in the bottle. This Taurasi Riserva is characterized by an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose opens with a fruity bouquet, with intense notes of cherry, berries, plum, black pepper. The sip is structured and balanced, with a long persistence. It is perfect to combine with roasted red meat or game, with spicy dishes and aged cheeses.
