Bortolomiol Bandarossa Special Edition Vigna di Collagù Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry 0,75 ℓ

Limited edition of Prosecco Bortolomiol, produced in only 6000 bottles and marked with the exclusive Banda Rossa that the founder Giuliano Bortolomiol used to affix to the high quality prosecco he wanted to give to his closest friends. The Bandarossa Special Reserve is obtained from the best Glera grapes harvested in the second half of September from twenty vineyards located between the hills of San Pietro di Barbozza and Santo Stefano, in Valdobbiadene. The selection of the bunches proves to be a fundamental choice to propose a label of this calibre, the result of a vinification carried out with ancient yeasts selected from the same vineyards of Bortolomiol and of a longer sparkling process than the traditional Charmat Method, with ageing of 3 months on its lees and a further 4 months in the bottle. The result is a refined bubble that shines in a beautiful pale straw yellow in the glass, accompanied by a minute and constant perlage. The elegant smell plays on subtle citrus and tropical fruit notes. The taste is slightly sweet, centred on a pleasant silky texture and a delightfully harmonious palate. Ideal to serve on special occasions as an aperitif.
