Salcuta Fetească Neagră Ștefan Vodă IGT 0,75 ℓ

This red wine from the Salcuta winery is born in the Ștefan Vodă wine area, Căușeni region, in the south-east of Moldova.The wine is made from the native grape Fetească Neagră, an indigenous grape that is found only in this nation. Once in the cellar, the grapes are pressed, and then proceed with maceration and vinification in steel tanks for 5–7 days. Ageing takes place in French oak barrels for 6 months.In the glass, the wine appears ruby red in colour with violet reflections. The nose reveals aromas of black fruits, cherries, black currants, prunes and spices. The sip is full, with silky tannins and a persistent finish.Excellent with grilled red meats and roast duck.
