The Vina Pomal Crianza by Bodegas Bilbaínas comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Haro, in the famous Rioja wine region and is produced with Tempranillo grapes. The wine is made with traditional vinification procedures: after harvesting and destemming, we proceed to crushing and alcoholic fermentation. The maceration period in contact with the skins is two weeks to ensure maximum fruit intensity. The wine then matures at least 12 months in oak barrels, 15% new, necessary to give complexity and character to the final result. Intense ruby red in color with violet reflections, it offers a complex and harmonious nose with red and black fruits then finished with delicate aromas of cocoa, vanilla and coffee. On the palate it is soft and velvety, with good structure, for a dense and layered sip that leaves room for a medium-long and accurate finish. Recommended by the producer with rice first courses, cheeses and paté, stew meats but also with baked fish.
