El Esteco Don David Valle de Cafayate Reserve IG Cabernet Sauvignon 0,75 ℓ

This Don David Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is born in the vineyards of the Argentine town of Cafayate, in the heart of the famous Salta wine region. It is made exclusively from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes harvested between the end of March and the first week of April. The grapes hare harvested manually and the fermentation and ageing process, take place for 70% of the mass, in small French and American oak barrels for 12 months. The colour of the wine is dark and intense ruby red. To the nose, it has evocative notes of chilli and paprika, followed by elegant smoky and tobacco notes. On the palate, it is elegant and sophisticated, with excellent complexity and balance between the maturity of the tannins and the fruity perceptions of morello cherry and black pepper. It is fabulous served on the barbecue, as well as with long-aged cheeses.
