Vinification of Crianza Cariñena by Care Family Vineyards The basis for the powerful Crianza Cariñena from Spain is grapes from the Merlot and Tempranillo varieties. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally drawn off.
