For this exceptionally elegant varietal wine from Weingut Manz, only first-class grapes were harvested. In Rheinhessen, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and marl. After harvesting, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Pinot Gris can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....
