The Globe is the latest release in Taylor’s coveted Historical Collection. The elegant bottle is inspired by the so-called “shaft and globe” design used in 17th-century England. A precursor to the famous “onion bottle” of 1692, it pays tribute to a defining era in the history of port wine. The engraved “4XX” symbol references Taylor’s oldest known trademark and underscores the brand’s deep roots in its long heritage. The wine is made from carefully selected, long-aged Tawny reserves and embodies all the depth, warmth, and aromatic complexity for which Taylor’s is renowned. The marriage of different cask maturations results in a harmonious, smooth port with a long, powerful finish.
