This Lagrein unfolds its intense bouquet, which seduces with aromas of red forest berries. These fruity notes are accompanied by spicy hints of dark chocolate. This Italian red wine has a strong character, is powerful and velvety on the palate. Vinification of the Lagrein from Weingut Ritterhof The vines for this wine are rooted in gravel and sandy soils in Gries near Bolzano, Ora and in lower-lying areas of Termeno. The grapes are selectively harvested by hand, destemmed and fermented traditionally for 10 days at a temperature of 28° Celsius in the fermentation tank. The wine is then matured and aged in large wooden barrels.
